So what’s the best tee to use?

So what tee should I use for my printing?

We constantly get asked what the best tee is to use for an event, or clothing brand start up or charity. There isn’t a right answer really. With over 50 brands of t-shirts available in our catalogue the choices can be baffling.

Luckily we have been printing tees in Jersey C.I for nearly 10 years and we have used lots of styles and makes so we know what is good for what.

Gildan Softstyle / Heavy

Gildan is a massive brand and they manufacture t-shirts by the millions. They offer various styles & thicknesses with different fits and finishes. The Gildan Softstyle tee is a popular choice when it comes to basic tee. It is decent enough quality for money and they wash well and are a nice tee to print.

We mainly use these for charity events, some basic merchandise & promo tees. Other tees similar in quality and price range to these are Fruit of the Loom premium, Anvil or the B&C 150.

Bella & Canvas

I personally love the Bella & Canvas Favourite tee. These unisex tees are slim fitted, side seamed and have a lovely feel to them. They have just released a load of new colours and also a range of heather styles.

We use these for lots of merchandise for events. They also have tear out labels which makes them perfect for re-branding. These are in the mid range bracket alongside BC 190, Russell & The American Apparel Fine Jersey Tee.

Continental Clothing

We have been using CCC since we first set up LAB-6. The sell completely unbranded clothing that is ready to print. Their garments are perfect for a start up clothing brand or someone looking for something a little more premium.

These we would class these as premium tees. Even though they are still wholesale prices. These are quite similar to SS & the higher American Apparel tees. You see the difference when you first see these. They look & feel more luxury.
